On Sunday the Abbey Roader's celebrated Shark Week with a Shark Week party! If you are not familiar with Shark Week it is a week during every summer in which Discovery Channel aires shows that teach you all about sharks. Our party included a Shark themed decor and lots of Shark snacks! Guests of the party were asked to wear Hawaiian lays to set the tone. We even played a few games.
On Monday it was back to work for our Abbey Roader's. Durning the morning students worked hard in their SAT/ACT classes and in the afternoon we visited both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston University. Students learned all about life on campus, clubs, sports, and life after attending their dream college.

Listening to a talk given by the advising office! We even got to view a senior presentation on a device that allows skiers to locate their friends on the mountain. Abbey Roader's loved to see actual class work from the MIT students.

After our MIT and BU visits, students returned to Emerson for dinner and College Prep where they are diligently working on their college application essays and building their knowledge of the college admissions process.
