Goodbye!

College prep isn't all fun and games, but don't be fooled, these past 2 weeks we've all had a blast!
In celebration of a fantastic third session students went on a scavenger hunt through Boston, had a pizza party, and won prizes for our music video contest. We even had time to tour North Eastern University and MIT.

Here are some highlights from our scavenger hunt:

Sebastian was determined to win!

Always time to pet a cute puppy, of course!

These two weeks truly went by in a flash, but one thing is certain... in the midst of college prep courses, practice tests, college tours, and writing essays, students made friends that will last a life time.

Not only did students work on their research and verbal presentation skills, but we all learned a thing or two about some really interesting topics!

Weekend Fun!

This weekend was filled with lots of fun adventures. We kicked it off with tours of Boston College and Lesley University on Friday. Saturday brought a trip to Fenway Park where some students experienced their first baseball game! On Sunday's agenda was The Boston Duck Tour (a boat that goes on land and sea) and a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts. Students enjoyed having some down time after a week of challenging classes - and with all the hard work they've been doing, they earned it!

Exploring Boston

In addition to taking SAT, ACT, and college prep courses, students have the oppurtunity to explore the city. We visit colleges, go site seeing, and experience Boston culture. Just this week students have toured the campuses of Northeastern and Brandeis University, seen a professional Shakespeare production, and tried some authentic Boston cuisine!

Start to Session 3...

Students moved into Emerson College for Session 3 this past Sunday. We have 16 students from 9 different countries - roaming the halls of floor 14 is like taking a trip around the world! Everyone was thrilled to see their rooms, and excited to meet their suitemates. The air was filled with anticipation and intrigue as students got to know one another and swapped strories about their home countries. Everyone was busy unpacking and getting settled. By the end of the day we were all prepared to take on the next two weeks of rigorous college prep courses. It won't be easy, but we are all determined, focused and ready!
